It was another fast paced week in the Treaty 2 governance iniatitive. An open house was hosted by Lake Manitoba First Nation on April 17, 2019 on First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory government. There were youth from the school, elders, community members in attendance. A presentation on the Bill S-3 membership was given to the community members. There was positive interest by all in attendance on what is Treaty 2 and how it will work with the First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory (FNiT2T). An awesome meal of homemade soup and bannock was served. Overall a great day in the community of Lake Manitoba!!!. There is an upcoming open house in Ebb Flow First Nation on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at the community hall.
