Treaty 2 Territory – The Keeseekoowenin First Nation governance committee met on Tuesday, May 21st, and FNiT2T was there to assist them in their first meeting together.
Lorie Thompson and Scott Lynxleg presented them with terms of reference and Lorie presented an overview of community development along with a timeline of where the First Nation wants to start and end the self-governing constitution for Keeseekoowenin.
There was great discussion on what is needed and how to go about collecting data and engaging the community members. Another committee meeting is scheduled for June 10, 2019.
