Treaty 2 Territory – The Keeseekowenin School held their Annual Heritage event today, Friday 6 June 2019. The event was opened up with a prayer from Knowledge Keeper and Elder Warren Bone. Students listen to speakers and presentations during the day including mini workshops during the morning. Chief Norman Bone, a builder with the FNiT2T Government invited Senior Staff to give an update on current activities.

Joseph Maud, Director of Internal and External Relations was on hand to give the students, staff and members an update on the FNiT2T Government. He also spent time on the history of Treaty 2.

Keeseekowenin School staff did an excellent job organizing their Annual Heritage day. Students were treated to a feast followed by a round dance in the afternoon. “I was really glad to represent our Government at this year’s educational and fun event”, said Joseph Maud.
