On Wednesday 12 June 2019 – FNiT2T Staff and the Dauphin River First Nation Governance Committee Members met at the new DRFN Governance Office. Work continues on draft their Isiskatch-ewanung (DRFN) Membership Onashowaywiin (Law) document.
The committee members also had a round table discussion to begin working on the Preamble of their own First Law (Constitution). First step is to gather their oral history, Yolanda Thompson will be visiting and interviewing the Elders of the community and recording their version. The recordings will be transcribed and the committee members along with Lana Racette, Nation Developer will begin working on the preamble that best suits their First Nation.
