Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T Care and Protection of Natural World staff attended the Southern Chiefs Organization (SCO) climate change knowledge exchange gathering July 23 & 24 at Brokenhead First Nation.
Presentations were made on Climate Change and Impacts, Adaptation and Strategic Planning. Many in attendance expressed that more meetings like this was necessary to make all First Nation members aware of the impacts.
Joseph Maud, Internal/External Relations gave some background information on Treaty 2 Territory, overall, there was a lot of exchange of knowledge shared by all in attendance.
