Treaty 2 presented flag to Chief Norman Bone of Keesee
Drying moosemeat and fish was one of the activities at the men’s gathering

This week I had the privilege of attending a Traditional Men’s Gathering in the beautiful community of Keeseekoowenin First Nation 61 A in  Riding Mountian National Park. It was a positive experience for all the men that attended. Treaty 2 presented a flag to Chief Norman Bone of Keeseekoowenin host of the men’s gathering. Men from Ebb Flow, Keesee, Skownan, Waywayseecappo, Tootinaowaziibeeng, PIne Creek, Winnipeg, Brandon, Dauphin. The men participated in sweats, sharing circles, medicine picking, Teepee teachings, naming ceremony and many more. This is a much needed for our men to get together and learn our culture and ways of living a good life.
