Treaty 2 Territory – On Wednesday Jul 24, 2019 we attended the MMIWG information session presented by Treaty 2 in Dauphin, Manitoba. Women from the First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory (FNT2T) attended and participated in the information sessions. Lorie Thompson and Betty Lynxleg of Treaty 2 government did presentations on the recommendations from the final report on MMIWG report released in June 2019. It was a positive experience for all the ladies that attended. Recommendations were made by the women in attendance.
