Treaty 2 Territory – We were in the Nation of Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve on July 31 and Aug 01 to attend the treaty day payout and the annual pow wow. There were numerous activities for community members to participate in.
A parade was enjoyed by all who attended. There were many dancers and different drum groups from other surrounding communities. Leadership from surrounding First Nations also attended the pow wow. Treaty 2 flag was carried in by Joe Maud of Treaty 2 government. It was a great day in Tootinaowaziibeeng for all who attended.
