Treaty 2 Territory – On Wednesday Aug 14th, 2019, FNT2T Circle Keeper of The Natural World Ron Missyabit and Director of Collective Economic Development Ryan Sutherland, attended FortWhyte Farms Community Lunch. At the lunch FortWhyte President and CEO Liz Wilson and Director of Sustainability Jackie Avent gave us and the others in attendance a tour of the Farm and Facilities.
The Lunch was prepared by FortWhyte Farm employees with produce from the Farm. On the menu was chicken, vegetarian nuggets, and garden salad. We had a chance to discuss operations of the Farm, and various programs that operate through the Farm.
There are numerous opportunities with FNT2T in terms of Economic Development and the Natural World following FortyWhyte’s Sustainable Development Model.
