On Aug 21, 2019 Treaty 2 was in Keeseekoowenin First Nation for their annual treaty payout. The event was well attended by the community with activities for all to participate in. Amazing race, local food vendors were on site, kids races, pancake breakfast, elder tent. The weather was beautiful for this day in Keesee. The treaty day celebration was from Aug 21 – 23. A great time was had by those in attendance.
Treaty 2 was in Little Saskatchewan First Nation on Aug 23, 2019 to celebrate their treaty day payout and activities. This event was held at the school with Chief Hector Shorting in attendance greeting the community members as they came to the school. Elder games, kid games, breakfast were some of the activities held for the community members. The celebrations were from Aug 23-25.
