Treaty 2 Territory – On Monday September 09,2019 the Government of First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory gave a presentation to the community members of Gamblers First Nation at a community meeting.
A presentation was made on the history of the Treaty and FNT2T government process and the involvement of Gamblers First Nation in developing their own governing laws for their members. Nation building, government structure, child and family well being were some of the areas presented to the members in attendance.
Information packages on the FNT2T governance process were given to the members in attendance. FNT2T staff will be working with leadership and community members in this process giving them full support.
