Treaty 2 Territory – Boozhoo! The First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory are excited to announce upcoming Anishinaabemowin learning sessions in the four directions of the Territory. The start date for the learning sessions will begin October 5th 2019.
Anishinaabemowin learning sessions will include participants from Grades 7 & 8 and local fluent Anishinaabemowin speakers. Our language is an important part of Anishinaabe culture. The youth participants will learn the sounds, vocabulary, and grammar of the Anishinaabe language, and engage in dialogue, with the guidance of fluent Anishinaabemowin speakers.
