On Tuesday October 1stScott Lynxleg, from FNT2T, joined my home community of Gambler First Nation in what we hope to be one of our last read throughs of our draft election code.
For the past 2 years Gambler First Nation, our Chief & Council, our Advisory Committee, our membership and our lawyer have been collectively reading, re-reading writing and re-writing our constitution, membership code and election code. This has been a very daunting and time-consuming task but we are nearing the end.
As a community we are pleased to welcome an organization such as FNT2T, who is willing to offer support in the form of expertise, knowledge and resources.

This was my first task as a FNT2T Local Nation helper. I am very lucky and blessed that our Chief and Council and Advisory Committee has done most of the heavy lifting in writing our constitution and membership laws but I plan on doing my best at the rest of my job as I can do. I look forward to being the information line to communicate to and from FNT2T with regards to news and up and coming events.

Our Chief & Council, our staff and our membership are all looking forward to what the future holds for our community and what our relationship with FNT2T has in store.
