Treaty 2 territory – Chief McKay, Tootinaowaziibeeng presented tobacco and sweat grass picked from the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe/Cree (Riding Mountain) to the Reeve of RM of Dauphin and Mayor of Dauphin during a relations forum on economic and business development Wednesday 16 October.
The Government of FNT2T and Ken Catcheway, Councillor Skownan and member of the FNT2T Men’s Council attended, keepers in attendance was Ryan Sutherland, Business Development Keeper, Joseph Maud and Boh Kubrakovich-Kiniw.
Announced during this time was the 16/17 November events during Nationally broadcasted Rogers Hometown Hockey and the Second Annual Hockey Night in Treaty 2 on Saturday 21 December!
