ELECTIONS CANADA (federal election) VOTING MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2019 FOR EVACUEES

October 19, 2019

Accommodations are being prepared so evacuees members can vote at Polling Stations located at the:

1. RBC Convention Centre and

2. University of Winnipeg

Transportation is being arranged that can be accommodated outside of the City of Winnipeg as well. At these polling stations there will be specific polling stations with signage for each First Nation to vote. The identification (ID) required is:

1. Photo or

2. 2 pieces of ID if you have no photo ID or

3. Proof of Address (hydro or phone bill, bank card with your name on it electronic or paper)

4. If you have no ID someone can vouch for one person only

IMPORTANT: There is also available training over the weekend starting today that our First Nation members can participate in by assisting Elections Canada polling stations on Monday, October 21st federal election votes – if you have the training and are hired you will be paid for this work
