Thursday, October 24th, 2019. FNT2T Staff have been set up at the Super 8 Motel in Portage la Prairie for 2 days assisting FNT2T members, who reside in Portage, with registrations for the Canadian Red Cross. There is 90-100 members from the FNT2T who registered with the Red Cross in 31 homes.
The power outages were a result of the October 11th winter storm which knocked down power lines, poles, and transformers across the eastern region of the Treaty 2 Territory. The power outages affected the city of Portage la Prairie where members of the FNT2T reside.
