FNT2T in Portage la Prairie assisting Evacuees

Thursday, October 24th, 2019. FNT2T Staff have been set up at the Super 8 Motel in Portage la Prairie for 2 days assisting FNT2T members, who reside in Portage, with registrations for the Canadian Red Cross. There is 90-100 members from the FNT2T who registered with the Red Cross in 31 homes.

The power outages were a result of the October 11th winter storm which knocked down power lines, poles, and transformers across the eastern region of the Treaty 2 Territory. The power outages affected the city of Portage la Prairie where members of the FNT2T reside.

The FNT2T would like to thank Joseph, Gina, and Scott for their contributions in the city of Portage la Prairie. Miigwetch!!
