Treaty 2 Territory – Boozshoo Prime Minister Trudeau –
We would like to congratulate you on your victory as Prime Minster of Canada to lead your Government back to Crown relations with us.
Our treaty was made in 1871 more than 148 years ago with the Queen of England and Ireland. Our Treaty opened up the west along with being the continued gateway of the west. While we await the Unfinished treaty business to be implemented such as compensation for land taken up by Settlement and Immigration, we must work together to rebuild our Nations from the serious damage the Government of Canada has done the past 148 years.
We are prepared to move ahead with transfer and equalization payments so we are able to take full control of all infrastructure, programs, services and resource development in our territory. We are preparing ourselves for this change and we require serious talks with you.
If Canada on behalf of the Crown is serious about apologizing for the mistrust, genocide, destruction it has performed throughout the years then this process we are starting should be easy for your government to be part of.
