Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T staff continued this week to support the evacuees affected by the storm in Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie. Emergency planning and evacuee support continued for members of Lake St. Martin First Nation. First Nation members voted in the Federal election as polls were set up at various polling stations in Winnipeg for the members to cast their ballot. FNT2T staff also were in the city of Portage la Prairie to assist members from the Skownan First Nation affected by the hydro outage in the city of Portage.
