Treaty 2 Territory – October 30, 2019. Jean Courchene recalls helping around the house using resources from the land. Jean encourages all youth to become involved with the resources from the land. Youth need to learn how to survive. On October 11, 2019 a massive snow storm hit the eastern part of Treaty 2 Territory. Communities within the territory were affected by power outages. Preparing our communities and youth to be resourceful will be beneficial in case of another power outage.
