Treaty 2 Territory – On Monday November 4, 2019, I was in my home community of Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve. FNT2T government would like to welcome Jessica Ironstand-Nelson as the LNH (Local Nation Helper) for Tootinaowaziibeeng. Today was Jessica’s first day at FNT2T and was excited to be part of the process of self-governance for Tootinaowaziibeeng.
Jessica will be working with all staff in organizing engagement sessions on child well being and Life Long Learning strategies. There will be an open house for the community members to attend and learn more about the governance process. FNT2T government is looking forward to working with leadership and all members of Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve.
