Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T staff were in the community of Gambler First Nation to participate in the review of Gambler First Nation election law. The leadership and community members have been developing their own local constitution, membership law, and election law for the last few years. This has been a positive step in Gambler First Nation taking control of their own laws. FNT2T government continue to support the leadership and community members in this important process. There will be a community meeting in Brandon, Mb on November 26, 2019 for all members of Gambler First Nation to attend and ask questions on this process and Treaty 2 government. All community members are encouraged to attend.
