Treaty 2 Territory – On November 13 & 14, 2019 Local Nation Helpers were in the Dauphin FNT2T government office for a 2 day training session. The 2 day training was facilitated by Allen Sutherland of the FNT2T government. History of the Original people and The Natural World was the main topic that was presented to the Local Nation Helpers. The Local Nation Helpers will be taking part in training on the history, government structure, colonization and its effects on our people. The training will be taking place until March 2020. The Local Nation Helpers will be applying this training to help in developing their local first nations constitutions and laws. Constitutional committee meetings will be posted in each community for all members to attend and participate.
