Treaty 2 Territory – On December 12, 2019 FNT2T government was in the community of Gambler First Nation to attend a governance meeting for the community members. A draft constitution was reviewed by members from the community and members that reside off the community. This was done by video conferencing. The leadership was also in attendance with the community members. The local draft membership law was also reviewed by the members. FNT2T government is supporting the members and leadership of Gambler First Nation as they develop their local constitution, membership and election law. There will be upcoming meetings to review the election law and other developments for Gambler First Nation.
