Treaty 2 Territory – On January 13, 2020 FNT2T government was in the beautiful community of Ochichakosipi First Nation to meet with leadership. Ochichakosipi leadership discussed sovereignty and governance. Chief and council are in support of all Treaty 2 first nations and its members to develop their own local constitutions, laws, election, membership laws. They encourage all members to participate and be involved with the process and engagement sessions in the community. FNT2T staff will be in the community to meet with the youth and encourage them to participate in the upcoming Treaty 2 Winter Youth Games in Pinaymootang First Nation from February 26-29, 2020.
