Treaty 2 Territory – On January 14 & 15, 2020 FNT2T staff attended a training session at Mediation Services of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The staff will be trained in the area of Mediation and upon completion will receive a certificate in Mediation Skills. These skills will be used by the staff in their daily tasks in the communities. This will provide staff with the skills to help communities and members move along in the development of local constitutions and law making. FNT2T government will continue to support the first nations in Treaty 2 territory in this governance process and welcome input from the community members in developing their own communities.
