Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T staff were in the community of Gambler First Nation on January 27, 2020 to present to leadership and community members the upcoming Winter Youth Games in Pinaymootang First Nation on February 26-28,2020. Ray Mousseau also gave a presentation on language camps that would be hosted in the community of Gambler First Nation to revitalize the language that has been lost over the last couple of generations. There was positive interest by chief and council and community members in the games and especially the language camps. Language is one of the most important components of who we are as original peoples of this land. FNT2T will continue to support Gambler First Nation in moving forward in the future.
