Treaty 2 Territory – Students from the school of Keeseekoowenin First Nation attended an information/engagement session for the upcoming Treaty 2 Youth Winter Games to be held in Pinaymootang First Nation from February 26-29,2020. FNT2T staff Lana Racette and Ray Mousseau gave the students an overview of what the games are about and who could participate in the games. Some of the students were interested in the games. These games will give the youth from all over an opportunity to meet other first nation youth and build friendships that will be a positive influence for the future. I would like to thank local nation helper Stephanie Swain Lathlin for organizing and helping with the students.
