Treaty 2 Territory – The Winnipegosis Tigers Novice squad adds a championship banner with a dominating performance at the Swan Valley Tournament January 24-26, 2020. This year’s team is coached by Curtis Nepinak (Principle of Skownan School) and lead by majority of the team from Skownan First Nation.
Chief Catcheway who has a grandson playing said he is very proud of the team. He mentioned the squad has only one lost so far this season during the championship finals at the Dauphin tournament against a rep team from Winnipeg area weeks ago.
The team is on a mission at tournaments and is undefeated during league play. The Government of FNT2T and the Sports and Recreation Directorate is very proud of the team, coaches and parents. Keep up the hard work!
