Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T government celebrated the 2020 Dakota Winterfest Celebration in Brandon, Mb from Jan 31-Feb02, 2020. There were many events held over the 3 days including all age categories of hockey from minor to women. The talent show was a hit with all the people in attendance. FNT2T set up an information booth for people to get information on FNT2T and the latest developments in the first nations in Treaty 2 territory. Winterfest is one of the largest gathering of nations in Canada with people from Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. The youth participated in sports like volleyball and basketball. This is an annual event that has been held over 30 years.
