Treaty 2 Territory – I was in my home community of Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve on Friday Feb 14, 2020. I met with L.N.H Jessica Nelson Ironstand, to discuss the up coming open house for Tootinaowaziibeeng. This will be an opportunity for community members to attend and ask questions on the governance process. Language camps dates will be set for the near future at the school. Youth from Tootinaowaziibeeng will be participating at the Treaty 2 Youth Winter Games in Pinaymootang First Nation from February 26-29,2020. Jasmine Ironstand of the Jordan’s Principle program wishes all the youth the best in the winter games.
