Treaty 2 Territory – The First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory would like to wish Marlen Edwards of Lake Manitoba First Nation and Mya Kubrakovich of Pine Creek First Nation all the best in the 2019/2020 Manitoba AAA hockey playoffs.
Marlen Edwards, of Lake Manitoba, currently leads in playoff goals with the Winnipeg AAA Bantam 2 Division. The Winnipeg Hawks are leading the Winnipeg Sharks in the first round best of seven series 3-0. Game 4 goes on Saturday, March 7th at Maples Arena at 7:15 PM. Good Luck Marlen and the Hawks!
Mya Kubrakovich, of Pine Creek First Nation plays for the Yellowhead Chiefs of the Manitoba AAA Female U18 Hockey League as an under age player. Mya and the Chiefs play against the Ice on Friday, March 6th in Winnipeg, Treaty 1. Good Luck Mya and the Chiefs!
