Chief Catcheway issues a statement to the Dauphin Regional Health Centre and Parkland Regional Health Authority

Treaty 2 Territory – The Dauphin Regional Health Centre has turned away members of Skownan First Nation, members who are between the ages of 5 years old to 13 years old. The members displayed flu symptoms are were sent away. Chief Cameron Catcheway released a statement in response to PRHA on the members who turned away. Our Nations are at a greater risk when a pandemic hits our territories. Our homes are overcrowded and there’s is limited health services. The behaviour displayed by the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, under the Parkland Regional Health Authority is unacceptable! Please stay tuned for more information.
