Ebb and Flow First Nations takes precautions during COVID-19 pandemic

Treaty 2 Territory – May 5, 2020, Ebb and Flow First Nation continues to thrive during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Local Pandemic Team consists of members of Ebb and Flow First Nation Health Inc., Ebb and Flow First Nation Leadership, Ebb and Flow First Nation Education Authority, Ebb and Flow First Nation Administration. Members of Ebb and Flow have been working together since restriction have been put in place on March 15th, 2020. Essential workers continue to do an excellent job in ensuring the safety of Ebb and Flow First Nation Members. Restrictions will continue in to mid-May, and will be evaluated by the pandemic team as to what steps will be taken in moving forward.

Members are keeping busy and entertained with spring cleaning, online contests, Da Flow 101.3 FM radio, and social media. Members are able to keep up to date on events and updates on their Facebook pages “Ebb and Flow First Nation,” “Ebb and Flow Education,” and “Engaging Ebb and Flow.” Marlene Davis of Ebb and Flow First Nation is a Local Nation Helper with the First Nations in Treaty 2 Territory. Marlene has devoted her time with ‘Engaging Ebb and Flow’ by providing updates, events, and contests for members. Excellent Job Marlene, keep up the great work!

Ebb and Flow First Nations will continue precautions in preventing COVID-19 from entering the Nation. Check points will remain in place until further notice.
