Gambler First Nation celebrates graduation of youth

Treaty 2 Territory – Gambler First Nation celebrated the graduation of 3 youth from the community on Thursday June 18,2020. Ron Gray, Alexis Tanner and Emily Ledoux received their diplomas as highschool graduates. The celebration was held in the community of Gambler First Nation. Mandatory precautions were used such as temperature checks and hand washing. Jordan’s Principle case manager Lenore Fenton was MC. Chief Dave Ledoux and council addressed the graduates and wished them well in their future going forward. Darlene Tanner Education Dept addressed and presented the students with diplomas and gifts. A BBQ and slideshow was held for all in attendance. It was a beautiful day for all the community of Gambler First Nation. The students attended Russell Highschool in Russell Mb which is about 25 minutes from the community of Gambler. FNT2T government would like to congratulate the youth on this accomplishment and all the best in the future.
