Keeseekoowenin youth participating in local sports

July 7, 2020

Treaty 2 Territory – Keeseekoowenin  is keeping the youth of the Local Nation active through sports such as  softball and slowpitch teams. Councillor Bradley Burns is involved with both the fastball and slowpitch teams. Bradley has said that its important that we get our youth involved in sports and recreation. Keeseekoowenin has a men’s fastball team that plays in the Dauphin Men’s Fastball League in Dauphin.

The team is a mix of youth and older players. One of the youth is pitcher Christian Brazeau, he is a young man who enjoys the sport and is an upcoming fastball pitcher for Keeseekoowenin. Bradley also said that they compete in slowpitch tournaments. This gives the youth of the Local Nation an opportunity to play some sports and be active. FNT2T would like to congratulate Keeseekoowenin on involving youth in sport and continue to support the future developments of Keeseekoowenin.
