Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T Regional Office had a busy week ending July 10, 2020. This past week FNT2T staff had their weekly staff meeting online. Program updates from each circle. Communications for FNT2T, such as Moccasin Trail News, there will be upcoming hardcopy issues for distribution to the communities. Regional Offices will be in certain communities with the Natural World for the Climate Change Project over the next while. Regional Offices will be launching an interactive law development page with power point presentation and easy to read draft laws. Regional Offices Dauphin and Pinaymootang along with staff met to discuss the law development tool kit and how the communities can move forward in developing local laws at the community level. Regional Office Dauphin also met with leadership from Keeseekoowenin to discuss the ongoing law development and moving forward with the governance process. FNT2T Regional offices will be meeting with leadership and community members in the treaty 2 territory to forward community development and governance.
