Treaty 2 Territory – Dauphin River chief and council met with FNT2T government at the Regional Office – Dauphin on July 13, 2020. Agenda items discussed were Canada Table talks, communications, justice and restorative peacekeeping, unfinished treaty business, nation and law development. A presentation by the Natural World Circle was given to leadership on Fertile Soils and Agriculture. The Climate Change Project was also presented, which involves mapping by the use of drones. The Natural World Circle will be in the community of Dauphin River in the next few weeks to do a presentation to the community members and elders. Circle updates were given to leadership in the areas of Life Long Learning , Regional Offices, and Corporations. FNT2T supports the community and leadership of Dauphin River moving forward in developing and providing a future for the next generation. FNT2T Regional offices – Dauphin and Pinaymootang will continue to work with the leadership and community members.
