Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T staff met at the Regional Offices Dauphin government building in Dauphin on July 20 & 21, 2020. The first day was a staff development and BBQ held for the staff of FNT2T government. A great meal was cooked by all the staff potluck style. Staff building activities were done with all participating.
The second day was a full day of staff updates and planning for the the celebration of Treaty 2 150 years. Staff of FNT2T will be working with Ebb Flow First Nation in planning events to celebrate the 150 years of making of the Treaty 2 at Manitoba House. Other items that were discussed were law development (handbook) in the local Nations, Life Long Learning, Natural World, Restorative PeaceMaking and all other Circles. FNT2T government, Regional Offices and staff continue to work with the local nations in all areas of development.
