Treaty 2 Territory – On July 22 & 23, 2020, Lana Racette, Special Projects Circle Keeper attended the Mediation Skills for Leaders course through the Mediation Services. This course is specifically designed to provide people (particularly leaders) with skills and processes to bring two parties in conflict together for a mediated conversation. This takes participants to the next logical step, bringing the parties together for a face to face meeting.
Four FNT2T staff members have taken the opportunity to become fully certified in the area of resolving conflicts through mediation services. The FNT2T Government will be taking the initiative to offer Mediation Services to its
Nations and members through their staff.
