Men Council meet to review law development, life long learning and natural world matters

Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T Regional Office Dauphin hosted the FNT2T Men’s Council meeting on Monday July 27, 2020. Representatives from Little Saskatchewan, Keeseekoowenin, Gambler, Ebb Flow and Dauphin River attended the meeting. Items on the agenda for review and discussion were reports on governance, communications, regional offices, Life Long Learning, and Restorative Peacekeeping.

The council discussed various topics and agreed to move forward on developing their Local Nations. Unity was one of the items that the council agreed that was needed to move forward. Natural Resources and land development were also discussed with Chief Ledoux of Gambler talked about the acquiring of land and developing it for economic development in Brandon.

FNT2T Men’s Council regularly meet to review law development, life long learning and natural world matters. Presentations were made to the Council by FNT2T government staff and provided the council with information on each circle. FNT2T Regional offices Dauphin and Pinaymootang continues to support the Local Nations and the councils that represent the Local Nations.
