Women’s Council meet at FNT2T Regional Office Dauphin

Treaty 2 Territory – On August 18, 2020, FNT2T Regional Office Dauphin hosted the FNT2T Women’s Council meeting at the government in Dauphin, Mb. Representatives from Gambler, Keeseekoowenin, Dauphin River, Little Saskatchewan, and Tootinaowaziibeeng were present at the gathering. Agenda items discussed were circle reports from The Natural World, Communications, Special Projects, Regional Offices, and latest updates from Lead Keeper on FNT2T government.

Other items on the agenda were:

  • Restorative Peacemaking,
  • Child and Family,
  • Health and Well being.

There was great discussion on all the agenda items and the council agreed to continue to meet to move forward on all the issues facing our local communities. The FNT2T Women’s council meet regularly to give support and guidance to FNT2T and the leadership on issues that effect our local nations. FNT2T government continues to support the women’s council and all the councils in FNT2T government.
