Treaty 2 Territory – On Sunday August 23, 2020, the Waywayseecappo Athletics were crowned Dauphin Men’s Fastball Champions for the 2020 season with a close final game of 8-7 over the Mallard Stars at the Vermillion Sportsplex in Dauphin. The teams in the league played a round robin tournament to decide this year’s champion due to the uncertainty of the restrictions of Covid 19 pandemic.
This year’s MVP was 17 year old pitcher Hayden Lacquette of the Mallard Stars who was 8-0 on the season. This year was a short but successful season for the Dauphin Men’s Fastball League. Next year there are plans to add more teams in the league. The Government of FNT2T would like to congratulate all the players, fans for supporting the league.
