Job Title: LLL Development Keeper

PURPOSE
The Life Long Learning (LLL) Development Keeper will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full life long learning plan according to the Life Long Learning Lodge structure and principles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning;
- Provide instruction to participants by promoting interactive digital/virtual learning;
- Work on designing content within a delivery plan;
- Create assessment methods and tools for the LLL Lodge;
- Produce, design and distribute learning content;
- Maintain electronic filing under share point and working with 365 Office;
- Collaborate with the Government of FNT2T, Local Nations and participates;
- Plan and execute life-long learning and land-based activities and events
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by events;
- Design curriculum with the LLL Lodge Keeper and conduct workshops and programs;
- Create a strategic plan to forecast the development for the Lodge;
- Performs other related duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Development Keeper must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor or master degree and experience in teaching, facilitating and empowering through life-long learning;
- Project management experience and/or training;
- Analytical intelligence, as well as a demonstrated ability to express ideas, negotiate and communicate effectively;
- Proven exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player to effectively interact with elected officials, staff, media, service providers, and government agencies;
- Highly motivated and ability to work in demanding and fast‐paced work environment;
- Organizational and time‐management skills;
- Self‐motivated and ability to work alone along with a team;
- Ability to blog, story tell and report on meetings and gathering;
- Knowledge of Anishinaabe language and understanding of culture and tradition an asset;
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and own vehicle; and
- Maintain confidentiality with a high level of accuracy regarding information.
