FNT2T Regional Office Dauphin working with Ochichakosipi in local law development

Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T Regional office Dauphin met with Tommy Hunter of Ochichakosipi on Thursday September 10,2020 at the FNT2T government building in Dauphin. Special Projects Keeper Marlene Davis and Tommy Hunter discussed areas of local law development, history, and plans for moving forward in the development of local laws for Ochichakosipi. Some of these laws would include membership, election and constitutional laws. There will be community information sessions for the members to attend and participate in. Once the restrictions of Covid 19 are loosened these information sessions will take place in the community. FNT2T Regional office Dauphin continues to support Ochichakosipi in moving forward in developing a positive future for the next generations in Ochichakosipi.
