Keeseekoowenin hosts 23rd annual golf tournament in Treaty 2 Territory

September 15, 2020

Treaty 2 Territory – 82 golfers took to the links on Saturday September 12,2020 at the Poplar Ridge golf course. It was a beautiful sunny day for this fun event. The teams were participating in the 23 Annual Keeseekoowenin Golf Tournament. The tournament was a 2 person best ball format. The winning team was from the community of Sandy Bay, the team of Brian and Mervin Spence. There were teams from all over the treaty 2 territory. This annual event is held in the early part of September and is always a favorite on the aboriginal golf circuit. FNT2T would like to thank Donna Blackbird and Dwayne Blackbird for organizing the tournament and to council man Bradley Burns for addressing the golfers and handing out the prizes. A great time was had by all who attended.
