Tootinaowaziibeeng taking precautions to protect community members with rise in Covid 19 cases

September 29, 2020

Treaty 2 Territory – With the recent rise in Covid 19 cases and now with cases in some communities, Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve leadership has put more restrictions in place for visitors and members. The administration office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for business. Before entering most buildings in the Local Nation a mask must be worn and temperatures are taken before entry is allowed to the building.

The Local Nation access checkpoint to the Local Nation is also being considered. The Local Nation is also using the provincial guidelines for Covid 19.

The TTR art initiative was put out to the local artists in the Local Nation, with a focus on what the artists view of how Covid 19 has affected the Nations and the way we live our lives. Many entries were forwarded and will be displayed through out the Local Nation buildings. FNT2T would like to thank the leadership and members for their efforts to keep their Local Nation safe.
