Treaty 2 Territory – On Oct 23, 2020 FNT2T Regional Office Dauphin met with Regional Connections of Dauphin Immigration services to develop a network of resources in the Treaty 2 Territory. Regional Connections works with the newcomers to Canada and Manitoba. Debbie Slonowsky of Regional Connections stated they would like to have a working relationship with FNT2T government. This would involve awareness and education of the anishaanabe people of the territory, along with knowledge of the treaties. An upcoming meeting will be set up for the opportunity for FNT2T Life Long Learning Lodge to provide education and awareness to the newcomers to the territory. FNT2T Regional Office Dauphin will continue to develop working relationship with Regional Connections.
