FNT2T Local Nation Helpers move to online training and engagement

December 4, 2020

Treaty 2 Territory – Due to the Covid 19 pandemic restrictions in place, many things have changed in terms of meetings and learning. The FNT2T Local Nation Helpers from each nation have switched to online learning through the Lodge at FNT2T government.

At the present time the Local Nation Helpers are participating in the Master Certification in Governance and Nation Development program through the Lodge of FNT2T.

They also will be taking a 5 day training course in safety training, presented by Toby Desnomie of the Saskatchewan First Nations Safety Association. The Local Nation Helpers are also still engaging the members on the governance process and providing information/surveys to participate.

Due to the pandemic, engagement will be taking place through online, phone, email, surveys to gather input from the members. Please contact your Local Nation Helper for more information.
