FNT2T Regional Offices and Assiniboine Community College developing local nation training

Treaty 2 Territory – On December 16, 2020, the FNT2T Regional Offices met online with Charles Blackbird of Assiniboine Community College in regards to the upcoming training programs with A.C.C and FNT2T Lodge. The Applied Carpentry Program starts in January 2021 for 10 participants from the Treaty 2 Territory and nations. This program will give the students their first step in gaining classroom and hands on experience in carpentry. This is an accredited course in the Level 1 carpentry journeyman program. The Financial Management Program is geared towards the nations finance staff that want to enhance and develop their accounting skills. This program will start in 2021.
