FNT2T Regional Offices meet to discuss engagement and nation development

January 29, 2021

Treaty 2 Territory – Regional Offices Dauphin and Pinaymootang met at the Regional Office in Dauphin Manitoba on January 27, 2021. Workplans and nation engagement were the main topics that were discussed. Local Nation Helpers are collecting information for member input into their local nation constitution (first law). There will be surveys, phone interviews, and social media engagement. With the Covid 19 restrictions in place, engagement is now focused on these safe strategies of engaging the members of each nation.

As restrictions are loosened and it is safe to engage members in the nation, engagement sessions will be hosted in each nation. Local Nation Helpers are the main contact for these engagement sessions and information. FNT2T Regional offices will continue to work with the Local Nation Helpers and members to develop local laws and nation development.
